Woot! Blood Princes (10) are dead dead dead <-- that was clever! Anyway Blood Queen we got to 27% I'm pretty sure we'll drop her on Monday! Great work again!! I hear Vonjo's group got Putricide to 1%, that is so close like this close | |. I'm sure a few more wacks at him and it'll all be good!

"Yeah Naxxamar was a set back, apparently ICC was too!"

Ba da pa pa pa - Putricide (10) is dead. Good work last night guys, we required 3 attempts a bit of refined strategy and down down he went!

Paragon - EU, is the first Guild in the World to get attempts at 25 man heroic Lich King! Good Luck Paragon!
A Russian guild (who's name I can't type cause of all the funky characters) has apparently been the first Guild to Attempt the Lich King in 10 man Heroic, Screen shots show the Lich King as approximately 8 million more health between normal and heroic versions. It'll be interesting to see if the Lich King is downed in either 10 or 25 man tonight!

Old news is new again! Ensidia got banned for "exploiting" a bug according to Blizzard. However there was no way of Ensidia knowing what was going on besides the fact the encounter was bugging out on them. So they got banned for continuing to attempt to kill the Lich King. Remember, it wasn't until AFTER blizzard banned them did they find out it was the Saronite Bombs causing the glith. But oh well.

Congrats to Ensidia on your world first kill of the Lich King, regardless of how much Blizzard tries to cover its tail. And congrats to Paragon for following up shortly after Ensidia on what Blizzard is calling the World first kill. Either way congrats to both the guilds!

February 3rd, 2010

Here's to hoping the Suarfang encounter will be fixed for tonights raid. Blizzard did acknowledge they made changes to the fight (thought they didn't bother placing that in the patch notes) so people wouldn't let people with Marks die (I really don't see why Blizzard would stick its nose in this, if people want to allow that then let them), so in the process of trying to fix that they screwed up the rest of the encounter. Apparently it's a mix of some of his heroic abilities in play and things like blood boil for example giving him 2 blood instead of 1, which would confirm why Forune was noticing his blood going up by 6 at a time each time 3 people had blood boil. Anyway, lets see if Blizzard fixed it ;)

Blood Legion a US Horde guild on the Illidan server has what appears to be a World First 10 man Lich King Kill! Congratulations to the efforts they put in to defeat the Lich King on the first night of release. While it's not confirmed to be a World First it was the first one to be reported! Will a 25 man Lich King kill be just around the corner?
[source]

Congratulations also goes out to Cleave Edge who achieved a realm first "Grand Crusader" and "A tribute to Insanity!" on February 1st, 2010, this means they cleared TOC 25 Heroic without wiping once, quite a feat! Congrats Cleave Edge!

So... I started the summoning event for Ragnaros and pretty much just as he 1 shots Executus and begins trying to melt my under britches, my chat log gets super spammed with realm first achievement announcements. I wish they'd have coordinated a little better with everyone instead of just getting that achievement whenever they felt like it. I mean seriously, it is hard enough to read guild and raid chat through "TOO SOON EXECUTUS" let alone 25+ simultaneous achievement notices... durring a boss fight no less. Thankfully Alca and I were able to pull through and successfully 2 man MC without a healer. *glares at Bran*

LOL, no one ever asked me if I wanted to heal MC, I would of so come :)

I understand the realm first spam probably increased the difficulity of Rag by a multidude of at least 25 ;)

I dont think they cheated, its blizzards fault for releasing a bugged encounter and they are taking it out on the worlds top progression guild. Good PR blizz :)

I know raiyuki uses saronite bombs as part of his regular rotation and it is one of the best ways for his class to max their DPS :/

Also looking at their logs (assuming they aren't tampered, i dont think they are) you'll notice he uses them on every encounter prior, so not using them on LK for a bug that they didn't (again assumed) know existed leaves me /boggled.

Someone said something about how their raid team power leveled their engineering to exploit the encounter but i have yet to see anything solid supporting that claim.

That does seem like a dick move on Blizzard's part.

Using one of our items as intended on a boss fight breaks the boss fight. Enjoy your ban!

this will forever be a agree to disagree argument but ill throw my 2 cents in quick.

They cheated and they got caught. personaly i like the irony that they called out exodus for bugging the yogg +0 fight saying "we will never kill a boss that way". karmas a bitch

I wouldn't call it cheating if they did not know what was causing the bug. The rogue that was using the bombs was doing what he did on every fight in the instance and nothing happened. The story gets even better because of the fact that blizzard was watching them fight Arthas. They only decided to mention something after the fight was over with. Why not say something during the fight and give them a chance to not "abuse" the bug.

DPS is hard too, when you roll your face on your keyboard for long enough, your head gets sore.
If your head ever gets sore, tell me and I will have someone with a fresh face to take your place. Out dps me already.

They called Exodus out because it was a known bug and they abused it anyway. And its not like Ensidia has never downed a randomly buggy boss the blizzard decided to push out anyway.
